Prevention
Vaccines are a safe and effective way to prevent these infections. If you are eligible, talk with your healthcare provider or pharmacist about getting immunized.
Who is eligible?
- Updated COVID-19 Vaccine: Everyone 6 months of age and older
- Flu Vaccine: Everyone 6 months of age and older
- RSV Vaccine: Infants under 8 months old, some older babies at increased risk of severe illness and adults 60 years and older
- No cost COVID vaccines for adults without health insurance or who have insurance that does not cover the full cost of the vaccine.
Other ways to protect yourself and your loved ones against these viruses include:
- Frequent hand washing or use of hand sanitizer
- Wearing a high quality, well-fitting mask in crowded public spaces
- Avoiding people who are sick
